Voting for the 2011 Perth Dance Music Awards opens today, Wednesday 2^nd November!! You have exactly 2 short weeks before voting closes on 16th November. Don’t miss this opportunity to play a vital role in the industry that is your weekends, your summer, your dance music experience in Perth.

We want you to think about what gave you THAT moment – was it the individual DJ, the promoter, the venue, or even the artwork on the flyer? This is your chance to let them know by giving them your vote.

It’s simple to vote, click on “vote” and give back a little something. There are rules and guidelines in place for voting agaim this year, so please take careful note and adhere to them. We take this stuff seriously!

Returning this year is the ‘Hall of Fame’, recognising those pioneers who were instrumental in the creation and growth of what is now a diverse and expansive scene. Congratulations go out to the very deserving inductees for 2011 – Deon Mellican (Loaded Dice) and Simon “Hutcho” Hutchinson. These guys were selected by the PDMA committee from the many nominations received from RTR, Teknoscape, inthemix, Drum, Xpress and last year’s inductees. Remember to head down to The Court Hotel on Sunday 11^th December for the awards ceremony in the one spacious area of their luscious beer garden that has been set aside exclusively for all the award party revellers. Some of our local talent will be putting their skills to use behind the decks guaranteeing an afternoon of good tunes, good crew and summer fun spent with 2011s best and brightest.
