Habitat’s DJ competitions are known for bringing amazing new talent to the forefront of the EDM scene. Darren J is no exception. Winner of the 2008 competition and one of WA’s top 5 in theITM Top 50 DJ Poll, he is now an integral part of the Habitat Inc crew having supported the likes of Satoshi Tommie, Stacey Pullen, King Roc, Stephan Bodzin & Armin Van Buuren.

Devo, RTR Rhythm trippin presenter and Roller original member is known for smashing out some of the best liquefying DnB in Perth. Having now found a love for the mellow sounds of Dubstep, he is proving yet again why is a stayer in the ever changing scene.

Joe Stawarz has regularly been playing for Minimal X-Posure, Democracy and Lucid Dreaming events. He plays a broad range of Techno through to House music as well as producing with Glasgow-based Soma Recordings and Perth's very own Itinerant Records.

Mach-1 spins anything and everything from dirty Breakbeat to throbbing Techno. Long time Rhythm Trippin presenter on RTR, Smurf, has been appearing at various local nights for many years. As well as having an ear for hip hop, he plays awesome liquid Drum N Bass that never fails to get the crowd’s feet stomping.

One of Perth’s new DJ’s, Tee El is fast becoming a staple on the bill for Boomtick nights. Already appearing regularly at Ambar’s Japan4 nights, he is going from strength to strength in showcasing his amazing talent as a Breakbeat DJ.
