Best House DJ: Dan Stinton
Dan Stinton takes the best House Dj for the first time since the awards started with 12% of the votes, Dirty Den who followed on 11% of the votes had taken this award in previous years. Chad D followed with 7% of the votes.

Best Techno DJ: Mrw
Mrw took out best Techno Dj with 38% of the votes, followed by last years winner Dj Puff with 25% and Dj Troy with 13% of the votes.

Best Trance / Progressive DJ: Adam Kelly
Adam Kelly secured the new Best Trance / Progressive Dj category with 20% of the voters, runners up were Dj Choice with 14% closely followed by Chad D with 12% of the votes.

Best Hard House / Hard Dance DJ: Freestyle
Freestyle easily won new Best Hard House / Hard Dance Dj category with 41% of the votes, followed by Weavy on 29% and Direct X on 15% of the votes.

Best Drum 'n' Bass DJ: Greg Packer
Greg Packer won Best Drum 'n' Bass DJ, 4 years in a row. Elhornet received 19% of the votes followed by Frantik with 16% of the votes.

Best Breaks / 2-Step DJ: Trent C
Trent C won the new Best Breaks / 2-Step DJ category followed by Krank with 12% and Echoic with 10% of the votes.

Best Rave / Hardcore DJ: Hutcho
The godfather of hardcore Hutcho took out Best Rave / Hardcore DJ, followed by Greg Packer on 12% and Verstyle on 9% of the votes.

Best New Talent: Nic Tan
This new category had many people voted for but Nic Tan took out Best New Talent with 8% of the votes followed by Heretik with 6% and Concept with 4% of the votes.

Best MC: Assassin
This was tight, with Assassin winning Best MC with 27% of the votes, followed closely by X-sessiv with 24% and J–Rippa with 16% of the votes.

Best Live Act: Rhibosome
Rhibosome won the new Best Live Act category with 30% of the votes, followed by Dub Society (17%) and GPS (16%).

Best Producer: Greg Packer
Greg Packer convincingly won the new Best Producer category with 48% of the votes followed by Statik (26%) and Eupho Spug (4%).

Best Record Label: Interphaze
Greg Packer’s label, Interphase also took out the Best Record Label with 31% of the votes, with Hard Afro (22%) and Off World (17%) following. Making that 3 awards for Perth’s hardest working man.

Best Nightclub: The Drum Club
Best Nightclub won by the Drum Club with 34% of the votes, followed by the Globe (21%) which had won the previous 3 years. Geisha came third with 14% of the votes.

Best Non-Club Venue: The Swan Barracks
This category was close with The Swan Barracks taking it out again this year with 25% of the votes, followed closely behind was Belvior Ampitheatre with 20% and the Old Berlin third with 14% of the votes.

Best Record Retailer: Central Station
Central Station won Best Record Retailer for the 4th time in a row with 28% of the votes followed by Dada's (19%) the Dj Factory (16%).

Best Radio Show: Full Frequency
RTR’s Full Frequency easily won Best Radio Show again for the 4th time followed by BPM (19%) and Looney Tunes (8%).

Best Free Magazine: Hype Magazine
Hype Magazine takes it out for the third time with 48% of the votes, followed by X-Press Magazine on 36% and Zebra Magazine on 16% of the votes. It will be interesting to see how things pan out next year, as X-Press recently bought out Hype and combined it with Zebra.

Best Dance Music Website: Teknoscape
Teknoscape took this out easily with 61% of the votes followed by IntheMix with 25% and Influences with 3% of the votes. There were another 11 sites the got votes.

Best All-Ages Rave: Blackout 2
Best All-Ages Rave was won by Blackout 2 which happened at this years best non-club venue (the Swan Barracks) with 22% of the votes followed by Fundamental (15%) and Genesis (13%).

Best Event: Gatecrasher Festival
The Gatecrashes Summers festival Perth’s biggest event took out the Best Event category, followed by Digital (9%) and Sonik (5%).

Best Flyer: Science Fiction
Best Flyer was won by Eupho Spugs NYE Science Fiction flyer, followed by After Forever (9%) and Sonik (7%).

Best International Performance: De La Soul
This category was massive with over 200 Dj's/Artists receiving votes, De La Soul got it this year with their live performance at the Gatecrasher Summer Festival, Ray Keith followed with 4% and Ben Simms with 3% of the votes.
